.: illawarra lightning afl masters

The Illawarra Lightning AFL Masters (AFLM) is the local over 32's Masters Australian Football organisation. This competition is not a competition in the true sense of the word. Players, some retired, some still currently playing in the local SCAFL and some dads of local junior players, come together from various clubs throughout the Illawarra to play Aussie Rules to keep fit and satisfy their passion for playing our national game. There are modified rules and no set teams, so everyone gets a run in a social, rather than competitive, atmosphere. Games are played in the Illawarra generally on Sundays at various venues throughout the region, so check the fixture list often.
